  1. I question which surprisingly doesn't get mentioned much is, can you tell if your inhaling asbestos fibres?
  2. In my public school we had a mineral collection in the library that had a sample of asbestos that we could pick up and play with. I doubt that's still around lol
  3. My Granddad used to cut this shit up on a cutting / abrasive disk AC sheet at the time. Was the 60s nobody knew shit. my dad said he used to look like a snowman-nobody knew or said shit then. Died slow painful death later. I personally feel owed.
  4. My teacher told us a story today about how he old school has some walls made out of asbestos. Apparently, some builders or something drilled a sign INTO THE ASBESTOS to warn students of asbestos in the corridors. The drilling disrupted the asbestos and now that corridor can't be used lol

  9. What do you mean it's not illegal in the United States? I thought it was made illegal ages ago. How could new asbestos things be allowed to be put in when there's all these OSHA requirements that have to be met to be allowed to remove it?

  15. In Russia, Astbestos is still widely being used, as there's a huge industry built around it. Due to the high corruption, doctors there refuse to acknowledge the effects it has on one's health.
  16. you'll encounter in within the fresh rock in mining; though its fibrous minerals, not asbestos.
  17. Asbestos is said to have been brought to Earth from Venus by Melchisedek.
  18. The fibers actually act more like spears than knives.
You see there's this specific variation of a cell type called monocytes that specialize in large scale cleanup duties, eating loads of pathogens for example, or removing microscopic foreign bodies from your vulnerable tissues, and there's a lot of this variant in your lungs, they're called macrophages, which is the fancy way of saying "giant eater".
Now, when these dump trucks try to haul away the asbestos fibers by eating them, that thing you see in movies and comics where the hero kills a crocodile trying to eat him by impaling it with a spear stuck inside its mouth kind of happens, they try to eat pointy rocks, they get full of holes. Macrophages are basically MADE to break down and haul away stuff that is bad for you, so simply put they contain a lot of chemicals that go REALLY poorly together with other living things, and on top of that they're also cells meaning that when they die, they send off a generalized mayday call that brings in the cavalry, including other monocytes.

You can probably see where I'm going with this, in addition to all the bad stuff asbestos fibers can and will do to your lungs on their own, they also kill off your own immune cells and cause an even bigger inflammation that then becomes self sustaining as more and more macrophages meet gooey impaling death trying to eat the same piece.
  19. take a shot every time hank says asbestos
